EVENTS PROGRAM

Places to meet and learn: discover the university district

A university district in the university city, this is the district that was created during the 19th and 20th centuries around Via Zamboni. The ancient San Donato street under the Bentivoglio family already represented an important cultural and social axis of Bologna, later re-established with the relocation of the University and the proliferation of its spaces.

Bologna’s Secrets Hunt

Bologna, the university city par excellence. The city of fine arts, gastronomy, and secrets. Since 1088 many alumni sought to keep its secrets, as well as theirs, from strangers, while strengthening the bonds with their fellow colleagues. Get involved in a treasure hunt in Bologna city centre and discover some of these secrets with our Una Europa Student Local Task Force. Two teams will compete, but only one will win!

Women of the University: figures to be rediscovered

From the European Student Museum to the Palazzo Poggi Museum, all the way to the Carducci Lecture Hall, women who have written the history not only of our university but of culture and world society will present us with their stories and exploits. These women were able to become professors, first ones in the world. They opened the doors of a centuries-old institution, such as the university, which was born with marked misogynistic characteristics.
